Cool find on Kickstarter (though a couple of months too late to take part, unfortunately).
A short film about Alzheimers, time travel and redemption. Poughkeepsie is a 20-minute short film about George Dawes, a late-stage Alzheimer’s patient facing his final days with a fractured sense of reality and a heart full of regrets. He is haunted by a terrible marriage, the death of his daughter and his subsequent bad parenting of his granddaughter, Elaine. His final days look bleak. However, in his moments of mental instability, George discovers a strange and unpredictable ability to go back in time. Are these momentary fantasies generated by his failing mind? Or has the universe cracked open to offer George a second chance to right the wrongs of his life and save his daughter before it's too late? Check it out under "Movies."
